Project Overview

For Visa, I worked on the design of a dedicated app created for their clients attending the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The project aimed to deliver a premium digital experience that complemented the prestige of the event, providing attendees with seamless access to event information, exclusive experiences, and tailored services. My role focused on crafting an intuitive and visually engaging interface that reflected Visa’s global brand standards while ensuring ease of use for a diverse international audience. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and developers, I helped shape an application that not only supported client needs during the tournament but also elevated Visa’s presence as a key sponsor of the World Cup.

Problem

Visa wanted to create a digital experience for their clients attending the 2022 Qatar World Cup, but existing tools didn’t provide the level of exclusivity, convenience, or brand presence expected from a global sponsor. With clients coming from diverse regions and expecting seamless access to information, services, and event experiences, the challenge was to design an app that was both intuitive and premium, while catering to an international audience with varied needs.

Design Process

My design process began with research and discovery, focusing on Visa’s objectives, the event context, and the needs of a diverse international client base. I then moved into creating prototypes to define user flows and validate how attendees would access schedules, event details, and exclusive services. Once the structure and interactions were confirmed, I designed high-fidelity interfaces that aligned with Visa’s global brand identity while delivering a premium, intuitive experience.

Solution & Results

I designed a premium event app tailored for Visa’s clients at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, ensuring the experience reflected both the exclusivity of the event and the strength of Visa’s brand. The solution provided clients with seamless access to match schedules, event information, and exclusive services, all presented in a clear and intuitive interface. I focused on creating a design system that balanced usability with a polished, high-end look, making the app easy to navigate for an international audience. By delivering detailed, developer-ready designs and supporting implementation, I ensured the final product aligned with Visa’s global standards while enhancing the overall client experience during the tournament.
