Project Overview

ClassVR partnered with me to redesign their entire website with the goal of creating a more modern, intuitive, and engaging digital presence. The challenge was to showcase their innovative technology in a way that felt approachable to educators, highlight the benefits of immersive learning, and better communicate their mission to transform education globally. The redesigned site needed to educate visitors, inspire trust, and guide schools and institutions toward adoption—ultimately driving higher engagement and conversions.

Problem

Prior to the redesign, ClassVR faced a number of challenges with their website that were limiting their ability to effectively showcase their technology and engage with educators. Their previous site was outdated, visually inconsistent, and difficult to navigate, which made it harder for users to quickly understand the value of their platform. The content structure was cluttered and lacked clear user journeys, resulting in confusion around their products and solutions. In addition, the website was not fully optimised for mobile devices, and the overall user experience did not reflect the innovative and forward-thinking nature of ClassVR’s brand. These issues reduced the site’s ability to educate visitors, build trust with schools and institutions, and drive inquiries or conversions.

Design Process

The project began with a detailed discovery phase, including a kickoff call and brand immersion to understand ClassVR’s mission, goals, and the unique requirements of their website. This was followed by a full website audit and competitor analysis to pinpoint usability issues, gaps in content hierarchy, and opportunities to better communicate the value of their platform. Using these insights, I developed low-fidelity wireframes to map out clear user journeys and restructure the site’s navigation for simplicity and clarity. These early prototypes allowed stakeholders to provide feedback on information flow and overall usability before visual design was introduced. From there, I advanced to mid-fidelity wireframes, layering in more detailed layouts, content structures, and interaction patterns to ensure the site could effectively guide different audiences educators, administrators, and institutional decision makers toward key actions. Once the structure was approved, I crafted high-fidelity wireframes and UI designs, incorporating ClassVR’s visual identity, imagery, and brand messaging. A key focus was making the site fully responsive, ensuring a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile, which was essential for their global audience. After final approval, I handed off designs and assets to the development team, working closely with them throughout implementation. I provided guidance, design support, and conducted quality assurance reviews to ensure the final site reflected the intended user experience and brand vision.‍

Solution & Results

The result was a modern, professional, and user-friendly website that not only elevated ClassVR’s brand presence but also improved its ability to educate, inspire, and convert visitors. By combining thoughtful UX strategy with strong visual design, the new site positioned ClassVR as the trusted leader in educational VR solutions and supported their continued global growth.
